the quick bio

i was born in rochester, ny in 1983 during the hottest day of the summer as a 10.5 pound boy. then i learned to walk, talk, and eat with my own hands. somehow i made it through middle school. after high school, i went to ithaca college, where i graduated in 2006 with a degree in cinema production, and two minors - audio production and web programming. after college, i joined the band another day late and did the rock and roll thing. now i make websites and music based out of brooklyn, ny.

web design and development

i made my first website in 8th grade for my band at the time, jonny action, with a free geocities account and a handful of animated gifs. i continued to make websites throughout my studies in high school and college and in 2006 i started getting my feet wet in the freelance world. in february 2007, i launched my first large scale website - tenning.com, a social network where users could post top ten lists about anything they want. that process was a great learning experience and from there, i dove into building and designing web sites as my profession. in case you missed it, my recent work is over here.

music

at 8 years old, i started learned music through the piano. then i was drastically woo-ed by the brashness of the electric guitar in 6th grade. i played in a band called jonny action up until college when i played with the band jack bauer. i was then in the band another day late. we formed in ithaca, ny and relocated to orange county, california. we recently recorded 3 new songs, but called it quits, and they are now available for free on our myspace. i am currently playing casually in brooklyn with some friends, revamping my gear & pedals collection.
