i obviously don’t read enough movie critics and IMDB forums, because i didn’t know there was such an uproar by some over my favorite movie so far this year. i mean, obviously the circumstances of the movie are taken from the concerns of the environmentally aware, but please. it is a gorgeous, touching, hilarious, and almost wordless satirical film. each attack on the film’s motives is hilariously absurd to me.
I agree. I think Wall-E was great in that it sparks thought about our current standing as a human race and the future we face. The people who are against that are the same people who will be lost in their cupcake drinks, waiting for a little robot to save them… but that robot will never come.
